Aisling is an Irish-born comedian, who's been performing for a long time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. Bea was on QI along with Stephen Fry. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. She was born the 16th of March, 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide aged three. But, she didn't discover the reason of death until 13 years later. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences with suicide. Bea's mother Helen was also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for raising her and Sinead. The family was awed by horses, race meetings and racing. Bea began her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that racing wasn't for her.
